Hannah Jefferson

Hannah Jefferson was graduated from Bracken County High School in 2005. She played basketball, volleyball, and softball four seasons from 2002-2005.

In basketball, Hannah scored 1,229 career points, putting her 6th all-time on the girls basketball scoring list. She was named 10th Region Player of the Year in 2005. She was named 10th Region Honorable Mention in 2003, 2nd team in 2004, and first team in 2005. She was named to the 10th Region All-Tournament team in 2004, and 10th Region All ‘A’ Classic All-Tournament team in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

In volleyball, Hannah was named to the all-District and Region teams.

In softball, Hannah was named to All-District and Region teams, and was All-State Honorable mention. She helped her team win the 2005 All ‘A’ Regional Championship in 2005, and District Championships in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

Hannah went on to play basketball at University of the Cumberlands four seasons from 2006-2009. Her team Mid-South Conference Season Champions in 2006, 2007, and 2008, and Tournament Champions in 2009. Cumberlands made the NAIA tournament every year Hannah played, making it to the Sweet 16 in 2006 and Elite 8 in 2009. The 2009 Cumberlands team holds a program best record of 29-5.

In honor of her achievements, Hannah Jefferson was inducted into the 10th Region Hall of Fame.
