Bailey Cummins

Bailey Cummins played basketball five seasons from 2012 to 2016 scoring 2,408 points. She holds numerous records for Bracken County girls’ basketball: the all-time scoring record, most points in a season record (660), highest season average (22.8), and most points in a single game (48). Bailey helped her team to District Championships in 2012 and 2014, and All ‘A’ Classic Region Championships in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, she was named 10th Region Player of the Year and a Miss Kentucky Basketball candidate.

Bailey Cummins went on to play basketball at Shawnee State University. She was named an NAIA All Mid-South Conference and NAIA All-American teams. For her college career, Cummins finished with 1,892 points, 656 assists, and 537 rebounds. She is 8th in scoring and 2nd in assists in Shawnee State’s records. In 2020, she was named Mid-South Conference Female Student-Athlete of the Year. Shawnee State won the Mid-South Conference Tournament and Regular Season Championship numerous times, making deep runs into the NAIA National Tournament.

Bailey Cummins is currently the associate coach with Georgetown College’s women’s basketball team.
