Annie Mains

Annie Mains played basketball at Bracken County for 4 seasons from 1988-1991. She scored 1,073 career points. Annie helped her team to 4 District Championships in 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991. In 1991, she helped her team to the school’s first 10th Region All ‘A’ Classic Championship, and finished 3rd in the state.

Mains went on to play basketball at Shawnee State University. She was named to the Mid-Ohio Conference All-Freshman Team in 1992 and was named an NAIA First Team All-American in 1995. For her career, she scored 1,017 points and had 492 assists. She ranks in the Shawnee State record book multiple times in the 3-Point, Free Throw, and Assist categories.

Annie Mains is a member of the 10th Region Hall of Fame.
